DOE College Scholarship for Scholastic Excellence
Annual scholarship is $3,000. The 2025 scholarship deadline is Tuesday, April 1.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION
1. Must be a member of DOE–Junior Division or a Regular Member for over one year and in good standing.
2. Demonstrate a commitment to the goals and mission of The Daughters of Erin through their active service to the organization. 3. Have a 3.0 GPA or above. 4. Demonstrate service to their school and community. 5. Must be a full-time student pursuing either a two or four year college degree. |
APPLICATION MATERIALS Applicants must submit the following:
1. A copy of your most recent high school or college transcript, sent to the Scholarship Committee directly from the school. 2. Two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be from a teacher, clergy or employer. One letter may also be from someone in the Irish community. 3. A typed cover letter to the Scholarship committee. 4. Write an essay regarding why you deserve the scholarship. 5. Applicants will be notified to schedule an interview with the selection committee.
